The Alabama Renfaire & the Ardmore Renfaire. They're both great and very resonably priced.
The Ardmore faire is only 5 years old, and this year was bigger than ever!!! It has quickly become my favorite!
The Florence(Alabama) faire is packed full of lovely goodies and fun!! It's the first faire we ever visited, that got us addicted & inspired me to sew Renaissance/Medieval/fantasy style outfits!

I began making Renaissance gowns in 2004. I have been sewing successfully for 10 years.
It all started with making hippie/70's clothing, out of 70's patterns and fabric that Mom had before I was born and never used. I always got complements when I'd wear them. So I kept doing it.
Michael (who is now my husband) & I went to our first Ren Faire in 2004. I made a Wizard costume for him and a faerie dress for myself. That Faire put a new drive into my spirit that has made me who I am today! I knew after I made those two outfits, that this is my calling. This is why I was given the talent of sewing and knowledge of color. To make the Renaissance/Medieval style outfits and what better place to sell them, than on Ebay!!!!
I have been selling on Ebay since 2003. I used to sell hippie style things but now it's mainly about the Renaissance Faires! I might list other things from time to time, along with them. Such as shoes, and other regular clothing.

Books
The Bible, definitely, it's full of so many interesting stories. Some sad, some romantic, mysterious, heartwarming, and full of hope for all of us!!! Jesus and the God are so amazing, kind, loving and giving! All I have has come from them!
I also enjoy other authors, Janette Oke, Jean Stratton Porter, Jane Austen, Lucy Maude Montgomery, Grace Livingston Hill..... Anything with a fantasy theme, medieval theme, or just something set in the past.
There are two books I've read in the last 5 years that really stand out in my mind. Stonehenge...the story of how it came about and detailed info on how it was built. It's totally believable, and makes perfect sense how they got it up there!!! I think the author it right on, the story around it is a bit ficticious, but the building of Stonehenge sounds completely true! It spans a full lifetime of the main character who starts as a boy and ends as an old man.
The other book is Oh Kentucky...the story of the settlers, mainly in Kentucky.
I'm also an animal lover! They are all unique and beautiful. I grew up with cats & dogs my whole life. Through the years we also had, Guinea Pigs, Parakeets, Love Birds, Zebra finches, fish, & Rabbits.
Dislikes
Mean people, backstabbers, liars, foul language, smoking, war, evil, hackers & spammers make me sick as well!!!!
Hobbies
Sewing, Making jewelry, Sculpting with polymer clay, playing Runescape, at www.runescape.com.
Vices
I try not to have them....
But, I can't do without my husband, my family, and friends.
Virtues
I am forgiving of many things, try to see the best in people & situations. I see the future full of possibilities & am excited about growing old & seeing what God has in store for me!
Heroes
My Mother, who was forced to raise three children, mainly on her own! Dad had a fatal accident in 1985, which left her to care for us. My older brother Robert was 10, I was 6, & Daniel, my younger brother, was 4. Not only did she have all of this, but her Mother (who she was very close to) also died 3 months before Dad's accident.
She had quite a handful & did a terrific job! We never starved or wanted for anything.
She never lost her faith in God, now matter how tough things were.
